North Central Timor Regency
North Central Timor Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established in 1958, the regency has its seat (capital) in Kefamenanu.
The regional economy is underdeveloped with the main activity in many village areas being subsistence agriculture. Poverty is widespread. Infrastructure, particularly, is underdeveloped with local inhabitants noting that infrastructure in the nearby Oecussi enclave, part of Timor Leste, is much better developed.
