In late 2006,
Lativi was involved in a controversy regarding a 9-year-old boy who died after suffering injuries supposedly related to watching SmackDown!. Although nothing was proven regarding the circumstances of the death,
Lativi succumbed and pulled all of its WWE program off the air on 29 November 2006.
