Promising Business, Japan Raise Indonesia's ranking

Government of Japan through the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) has increased Indonesia's ranking from fifth to third position being the most promising country in business.
The upgrade is related manufacturing business cooperation between Indonesia and Japan. Deputy Finance Minister Mahendra Siregar said, China still occupies the top spot to be the most promising countries for doing business with the Japanese. Then followed by India, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

"The upgrade is related to the high interest of Japanese investors to Indonesia," Mahendra said during a press conference in his office, Jakarta, Thursday (09/12/2013).

The ratings also seen an increase in the number of inward investment (foreign direct investment / FDI) from Japan to Indonesia, which is quite large compared with other countries.
In the last two years, the amount of investment from Japan to Indonesia increased significantly. In addition, JBIC improve Indonesia 's ranking as the competitiveness of Indonesia rose, consistently developing infrastructure, rising labor costs, lack of leisure between workers and employers and the rule of law is more pro entrepreneurs and workers.
