The 2014 Indonesia Super League season is the 6th season of the Indonesia Super League, a fully professional football competition as the top tier of the football league pyramid in Indonesia. The season scheduled begins on January 2013.
This season is the season in which the merging of the two professional leagues in Indonesia Indonesian Premier League and Indonesian Super League (ISL) after the dualism of the competition since 2011. In PSSI Extraordinary Congress on 17 March 2013 it was decided that the unification league will be called the Indonesia Super League to be followed by 22 clubs.
Indonesia Super League to be followed by 22 clubs consisting of fourteen Super League teams, four teams of the Premier League, three Premier Division teams and one team winning the play-off between ranked 15th Super League and ranked 4th Premier Division.
Team winning the play-off between the 4th Premier Division Persikabo Bogor with rank fifteenth Super League Pelita Bandung Raya will participate.
Champion, runner-up along with the 3rd and 4th ranking of the 2013 Indonesian Premier League will participate.
Note: Flags indicate national team as has been defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players and Managers may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.

The selection is done by a team of Technical Study Group which was formed by PT Liga Indonesia. TSG is a part of the High Performance Group (HPG), whose task is to analyze the technical, the whole game Indonesia Super League and also determine individual worthy of the award. The team consists of Joppie Lepel, Yeyen Tumena, Demis Djamaoeddin, and Tommy Welly.
